How to Apply Eyeshadow

HOW TO APPLY EYESHADOW:

You want to accent your eyes?

Just sweep a touch of eye shadow over your eyelids and it will make a difference. With its help you can define your eyes, give it a dramatic look and make them stand out.

Step 1:

First of all prime your eyelids by dusting them with a small amount of loose powder.

Step 2:

Select a light base shadow. With the help of a shadow brush, sweep it across your entire lid from brow to lash line. Apply the color to the brow bone area from inner to outer eyebrow. While doing so use your brow bone as a guide. If you want your eyes to appear wider then you should apply highlight from the inner corner of your lower lid to the middle of the lower lid.

Step 3:

Contour the crease of your eyelid with a medium shade with the help of a small eye shadow brush. The crease area is the area where your lids crease in the middle, when your eyes are open. You should blend slightly into your highlight areas to avoid the demarcation line.

Step 4:

Now apply the darkest contrasting color to the outer, lower lid along the eyelashes. Blend into the medium contrast color. You can choose to skip this step if your eyes are wide set.

Step 5:

Use a cosmetic puff and a little pressed powder in order to tone down the heavy shadow. Shake any excess powder off the puff and then press it gently on your eyelid.
