Choosing Right Eye Shadow Color

CHOOSING RIGHT EYE SHADOW COLOR:
The application of the right color of eye shadow can certainly make a difference. You need to do some experiment with colors and textures in order to find out which color suits you the best and which eye shadow you should select for yourself. Usually the Powder eye shadows are more popular because they are comparatively easy to use and blend.
  • You should also keep in mind that the light eye shadow colors highlight the area, whereas the dark colors make recede the same.
  • Usually there are three colors that are commonly used. Those are the lightest, the medium and the darker shades.
  • Application of the lightest color helps your eyes look more open and also brighten your eyes.
  • With application of the medium color you can add slight depth to the look of your eyes.
  • Application of the darker color and the contrasting color give both depth as well as the shape to your eyes.
Smoky Eye Look:
  • If you want to give your eye a dark appearance without the hassle of black eye shadow then apply a black pencil inside the lower eye and create the new smoky eye look. Smudgy Effect.
  • Apply eye shadow right over the eyelid. Then draw a thin line of eyeliner on the upper lid, close to the lashes. You can use a soft tipped eye pencil over the line to create a smudgy effect.

HOW TO PUT ON EYE SHADOW:
1. First of all you select a light color base shadow.

2. With the help of a shadow brush, sweep it across your entire eyelid, from brow to the lash line.

3. You can use a medium-toned shade to cover your lower lids.

4. Then blend eye shadow by stroking the lid gently with the help of an eye shadow brush. You should not use your finger for this as this could wipe off the shadow entirely.

5. You should use a cosmetic puff and a little pressed powder to tone down the heavy shadow. Shake any excess powder off the puff and then press it gently on the eyelid.
